Bio

Sangjun Lee, who is called by various names such as composerㆍarrangerㆍpromoterㆍjournalist, studied composition at Keimyung University(Aleksander Kościów, Edward Sielicki, Seungsun Lee), and is attending at Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina(Miłosz Bembinow). He was recently selected for the Seoul Cultural Foundation '2022 Art Creation Support Project' and he won a prize in the composition section of the 'Eugeniusa Tobarniciego International Flute Competition' in Poland. He won prizes at various contests and competitions, including the Yeongnam Composition Competition, Suwon Choir Composition Competition, Daegu International Symphony Orchestra Contest, Creative Song Festival for College Students, Daegu MBC Symphony Orchestra Project, East Asia International Contemporary Music Festival, Korea-Japan Creative Song Exchange Concert. His work was presented at various concerts held in Korea, Japan and Poland by various performing organizations and performers, including Suwon City Choir, Daegu International Opera Orchestra, Daegu MBC Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Yisang, Seoul Central Youth Orchestra, Bunabiz, Merry Orchestra, Seoul Youth Choir and Modern Singers Seoul. He also participated as promoter in various concerts such as Warcraft live concert, StarCraft live concert, 'Dreaming Classic' concerts in all seasons of 2018, Orchestra Mahlerian series 2~5 and the performances he participated in were held at Lotte Concert Hall, KBS Hall, Yeongsan Art Hall and Seongnam Art Center. In addition, he served as a Composer-In-Residence at the art planning organization Who's Art, Seoul Central Youth Orchestra, Merry Orchestra and project.yac's Artistic Assistant and he has been working on a wide repertoire of songs, such as the arrangement of the ‘Hearthstone’ OST produced by Blizzard Entertainment under the commission of Flagic Co. and the arrangement of Seojin School song under the commission of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. In particular, he is interested in bringing young artists' lives and art into the part of social problems. He emphasizes that 'Engagement' is the moral duty of composers, and he founded Classian, an Internet newspaper specializing in culture with young artists and is still recording young artists as a Classian's editor and publisher. Meanwhile, Sangjun Lee is also engaged in a wide range of activities as a general planner of contemporary music society YEORO, a general team manager of Flagic Co., a director of planning for orchestra Mahlerian and Composer-in-Residence&Programming Director of Seoul Youth Choir.
