Chopin University of Music in Warsaw cordially invites you to take part in the 24th Edition of the „Chopin–Górecki” Festival and music course, which will take place on 17-23 July, 2023.

After the COVID-19 pandemic the „Chopin-Górecki” Festival and course is coming back in its stationary form! This year we offer four 45-minute individual lessons under the supervision of the best teachers of our University, a lecture devoted to the outstanding Polish composers: Fryderyk Chopin, Henryk Mikolaj Górecki and Stanisław Moniuszko, delivered by  ad. dr. hab. Ignacy  Zalewski- dean of the Department of Composition and Theory of Music of our University and an excursion to the place of birth of Fryderyk Chopin – Żelazowa Wola.

The application form should be completed and downloaded by 31 May 2023. Electronic submission is the only acceptable form of applying to the course.

The fee for the course for candidates from Poland is:
1800 zł (without accompaniment) or 2 200 zł (with accompaniment)

The fee for the course for candidates from abroad is:
600 Euro (without accompaniment) or 800 Euro (with accompaniment)

Please pay the course fee to the University’s account with the note Chopin-Górecki 2023 by June 5, 2023.
