Composer, orchestrator, conductor and jazz pianist. Winner of two Fryderyk awards, two Jazz Oscars Grand Prix Jazz Melomani, arranger of the year according to Jazz Forum Jazz Top 2018, twice nominated for the Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej award.
Assistant at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, alumnus of the Academy of Music in Katowice.
He is the author of concert suites: "Chord Nation" for jazz orchestra, "Progressive Baroque" for historical, folk and contemporary instruments, "Concerto for piano and sinfonietta" (soloist: Dominik Wania), "Concerto for trombone and symphony orchestra" (soloist: Bart van Lier), "Wisent" for string quartet and electronics, "Brzezinski Concerto" for sewing machines, typewriters and 9 instrumentalists "Suite for trumpet, trombone and string orchestra" and Instant Ensemble for real-time streaming composition for 7 instrumentalists, he also composed music for the dance-music show " Kryptonim 27".
As a conductor, he has had the pleasure of working with such orchestras as the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra, Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra, Koszalin Philharmonic Orchestra, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra (with the Vijay Ijer Trio), Elbląg Chamber Orchestra, Łódź Philharmonic, Pomeranian Philharmonic, Lvov Philharmonic Orchestra and others. Together with Michał Tomaszczyk he is the founder of Konglomerat Big Band - dedicated to promoting the creation of new non-commercial works of contemporary jazz and regular workshop work with outstanding instrumentalists.
Together with Michał Bryndal and Maciej Szczyciński, he co-creates Stryjo - a trio dedicated to improvised compositions: composing melodious pieces during concerts, without written notes, based solely on musical communication between the musicians. As a pianist he plays in such bands as: Vincent Veneman 10, Štěpánka Balcarová TUWIM, Michał Zaborski Quartet, Bartek Pieszka Quartet, Mateusz Pliniewicz Quartet, Aga Kiepuszewska FALA, Joanna Kucharczyk Quartet.
Winner of numerous awards, including two Fryderyk awards - Jazz Debut of the Year 2015 for the suite for jazz orchestra "Chord Nation" and Jazz Album of the Year 2016 for the suite "Baroque Progressive" featuring folk instruments, historical instruments and improvisers, additionally awarded at competitions such as Transatlantyk Instant Composition Competition, Bielska Zadymka Jazz Festival, Krokus Jazz Festival, Jazz Juniors and others. Semi-finalist of the Bosendorfer Solo Piano Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2007, nominated for the Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej 2015 award, winner of the Jazz Melomani Grand Prix in the categories " The Music Lovers' Hope" and "Album of the Year".
