Andrzej Artymowicz


Graduated from the Sound Engineering Department, Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music (currently: The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music). Since late 80s the pioneer of computer sound postproduction in Poland.
In the 90s he worked in first computer sound studio in Polish Television S.A. He is an author of the 300 TV film soundtracks. He specializes in creative final mixing process for Television and Cinema using surround sound systems (such as Dolby Digital 5.1 / EX, DTS and others). Since 2000, he started work in modern Dolby Digital / THX “Big Blue” digital feature film studio at the WFDiF (The Documentary and Feature Film Studios), mixed sound in about 100 theatrical feature films, working with leading Polish feature film directors and composers.
Assistant at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Currently working on the latest immersive 3D sound techniques for Virtual (VR) and Augmented (AR) Reality. Author of numerous workshops and seminars at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and International Conferences and Symposia.

Member of the Polish Film Academy (PAF), Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP).
