She is a graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, branch in Białystok, in the piano class of prof. Jan Kadłubiski (diploma with honours).
She perfected her piano skills at master classes under the supervision of outstanding pedagogues - pianists: Jerome Rose (USA), Micael O'Rourke (France), Monika Catania (Italy), Joseph Banowetz (USA), Desire N'Kaoua (France). She also participated in seminars conducted by such outstanding singers as: U. Kryger, L.A. Mróz, J. Frakstein, J. Laszczkowski, J. Janucik, R. Karczykowski, W. Zalewski, J. Rappe, A. Pearce (Great Britain).
Urszula Iżbicka is a prolific soloist and chamber musician performing in Poland and abroad (she has performed, among others, at the Mannes College of Music in New York). The programs of her piano recitals include works from various eras, from Baroque (J. F. Dandrieu, J. S. Bach), Classicism ( W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven), composers of the 19th century ( F. Schubert, F. Liszt, F. Chopin, J. Brahms, C. Franck) and Cl. Debussy.
As a chamber musician, she has been giving concerts in a duo with the singer Marta Wróblewska since 2011.
Urszula Iżbicka has recorded CDs (including works by F. Schubert, R. Schumann, Z. Popielski). She received a doctorate in musical arts in 2001.
Since 1996, she has been professionally associated with the Chopin University of Music, branch in Białystok. At the same time, she works at the I. Paderewski Music School Complex in Białystok, where she teaches the piano. She has received a number of awards and distinctions for her artistic and teaching activities.
