He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in 1986, oboe class of Professor Edward Mandera.
In the period of 1986–1991 he worked at the Wojciech Rajski Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot. Between 1991 and 1997 he worked at the Great Symphony orchestra of the Polish Radio in Katowice. Since 1997 he is a soloist of the Great Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw.
He conducts methodological and programme seminars for primary and secondary music school teachers. He collaborates with many orchestras in Poland, such as: Sinfonia Varsovia, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Radio Symphony Orchestra in Warsaw, and others. He pursues artistic activity as a soloist and chamber musician, he has made numerous archive and CD recordings, and performed many opera premieres. He has given concerts in such countries as: Japan, China, Germany, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, Arab Emirates, Oman, Lebanon, and more. In 1992–2001 he taught oboe class at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław.
Since 2002 he has been oboe teacher at the Department of Instrumental and Educational Studies in Białystok (FCUM).
