Ph. D. in Social Sciences from the University of Warsaw; graduate of the University of Warsaw (English Philology and Sociology) and the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (Music Education – eurhythmics and piano improvisation), as well as Psychology (SWPS University) and postgraduate studies in job coaching (SWPS), the Institute of Reportage, and Applied Positive Psychology. Currently undergoing psychotherapy training at the School of Psychotherapy, Institute of Health Psychology  - Instytut Psychologii Zdrowia (integrative approach).

Combines academic work with psychological practice and musical activity.

Since 2000, lecturer at Warsaw universities (since 2019 – Fryderyk Chopin University of Music; since 2022 – SWPS University; previously – University of Warsaw, Faculty of Applied Linguistics; Linguistic University of Warsaw; Lazarski University; Pedagogical University). Teaches both international and Polish students. Currently teaches at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music: Sociology of Music and English-language music seminars/conversations; at SWPS University: Positive Psychology (Personal Skills) and the authorial course Psychology of Artists and Art for psychologists working with musicians. Previous teaching experience includes English for Specific Purposes (Media English, Business English), sociolinguistics, leadership and social animation, as well as music pedagogy (music education with methodology, musical games and activities) and sociology (general sociology, sociological methods).

Scholarship recipient at Ohio State University (Columbus) and University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), USA; visiting scholar at universities in France (Toulouse), Spain (Madrid), and Turkey (Istanbul).

Career advisor for international and Polish students and graduates at the Career Office of the University of Warsaw; conducts original career activation workshops for the University of Warsaw, the Women's Rights Centre Poland, and Wszechnica Polska; expert at job fairs.

Author of the interdisciplinary doctoral dissertation Polish-American Marriages and Their Multicultural Worlds”; translator of Arvo Pärt. Resonant Texts by Andrew Shenton (published by the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, 2019); creator of the educational projects Rapujące cyfry” (2017) and Naughty Numbers” (2023) – albums of original children’s songs based on texts by Marzena Kowalska, Monika Oliszewska, and Agnieszka Frączek, along with a book of musical activities (awarded the Warsaw Cultural Education Award 2017); author of the album Piosenki ulotne” recorded with the band Pinakoteka. Author of publications in Studia Socjologiczne, Duży Format, and publications by Fundacja MaMa, De Gruyter, and Pani Twardowska Publishing.

Since 2024, works as a psychologist at the Twarze Depresji Foundation, providing consultations for individuals experiencing depression and psychological crises. Also delivers lectures such as How to Increase Happiness?” and mental health workshops for corporations (e.g., Stryker, JPMorgan Chase).

Member of interdisciplinary research teams at the University of Warsaw (international projects in social policy: migration studies, rural leadership studies, own research on Polish-American couples and cultural differences, research on social entrepreneurship – FAB Move project in Sicily, HR Excellence project on gender differences in academic careers, and studies on value transformations after 1989).

In 2011, founded the band Pinakoteka, performing original compositions. The ensemble includes graduates of music academies: Monika Szulińska (drums), Dagmara Latosińska (vocals), Tadeusz Melon (violin), Jacek Szuliński (double bass), and Joanna Jasińska (piano, composition). The band has released three albums: Piosenki ulotne” (2015), Pinakoteka dzieciom – Rapujące cyfry” (2018), and its English version Naughty Numbers” (2023), recorded in Windsor, Ontario (Canada), released by Polish Radio. For Rapujące cyfry”, Joanna Jasińska received the Warsaw Cultural Education Award 2017. She is also the composer of the anthem of the Warsaw Bilingual School (lyrics by Marzena Kowalska). Since 2024, collaborates with Jolanta Kula (vocals, musical saw); as a duo they won three awards in 2024: Grand Prix at the Experimental Song Festival in Słupsk, First Prize at the D. Radomska Festival in Białystok, and First Prize at the Depressive Song Festival in Piaseczno.

In 2017–2018, hosted the radio program Swój czy obcy?” on Radio WNET, addressing migration issues and featuring experts, reporters, immigrants living in Poland, and Poles living abroad.
