Klaudia Carlos-Machej graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Department of Music Education, where she specialised in Ballet Pedagogy (1995); she also completed postgraduate studies in journalism at the Institute of Political Studies and Journalism, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (2001) and Postgraduate Studies in Culture Management within the European Union Structures at the Institute of Literary Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences (2017). She has worked as a teacher at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music since 1995; in the period of 2012–2019 she was Vice-Dean of the Department of Choir Conducting, Music Education, Rhythmics and Dance (UMFC). She graduated from the National Ballet School in Poznań (1990). She was a dancer at the T. Stygietyński National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Mazovia”, and a dancer/mime and dance teacher at the Warsaw Chamber Opera (1996–2011). She specialises in national Polish dances. She has been responsible for concept-related matters of the Polish Dance Forum, which is cyclically held at the UMFC.

Klaudia Carlos-Machej has uninterruptedly worked as a journalist and TV presenter since 1994 (channels: TVP Kultura, TVP Polonia, TVP1, TVN, TVN 24, WOT). In 2018, she prepared an original cycle entitled Baletownik which was shown on TVP KULTURA and which presented the profiles of nine outstanding Polish dancers. It featured students specialising in ballet pedagogy.
