Krystyna Jaźwińska-Dobosz

Krystyna Jaźwińska-Dobosz is a mezzo-soprano. She obtained a degree in Romance Philology at the University of Łódź, she also graduated from the Department of Vocal and Acting Studies at the Academy of Music in Łódź.
In the period of 1977–1983 she was a French teacher at the Łódź branch of Alliance Française. Between 1979 and 1985 she was a soloist at the Great Theatre in Łódź, and in 1985–2000 she was a soloist at the Great Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw. She has performed on many European stages (e.g. in Paris, Berlin, Dresden, Vienna, Luxemburg, Brussels, Moscow, Vilnius, or Lviv).
Since 1998 she has been connected with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she teaches solo singing class and phonetics of the French language for singers. In 2012 she obtained a post-doctoral degree in music arts.
She is an author of the work entitled A sigh… — Henri Duparc and his songs (FCUM, Warsaw 2007).
Krystyna Jaźwińska-Dobosz is Professor at the FCUM at the Chair of Vocal Studies.
