From November 19-26, 2024, our rector, Prof. dr hab. Tomasz Strahl, and the dean of the Department of Vocal and Acting Studies, ad. dr. Ae Ran Kim, visited Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea. Our delegation was received by the president of the university, Prof. Synn Ilhi, honorary doctor of our university. Also participating in the meetings were Vice-Rector for Scholarly Affairs Prof. Pilhwan Lee, Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs Prof. Seon-Jung Kim, Deputy Director of Keimyung Art Center - Prof. Hyunsoo Kang, Director of the President's Office - Kyung-Moon Kang, General Manager of Daegu Concert House - Changgun Park and Director of arts event planning of Daegu Concert House - Jin Woo Kim.

On November 23, a chamber recital by Tomasz Strahl and Krzysztof Jablonski was held at the Daegu Concert House, which also honored Prof. Synn Ilhi with his presence.

On November 25, Prof. Strahl held master classes with students of the cello class at the local university. After their completion, the guests toured the campus and went to a farewell meeting with Prof. Synn Ilhi and his closest colleagues. After the meeting, which took place in an extremely cordial atmosphere, both sides announced the resumption of artistic and teaching cooperation between the universities. The invitation to visit UMFC in September '25 that our rector extended to President Ilhi was received with enthusiasm.
