With great sadness we announce that on 31 December 2020 the late Professor Jan Kaniewski died at the age of 90.
Conductor, for many years academic teacher of our University, Dean of the Department of Music Education in the years 1978 – 1981.
He was decorated with the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Golden Cross of Merit and many times awarded the Prize of Polish Minister of Art and Culture.
We extend condolences to Professor Kaniewski’s Family, Friends,  Alumni and Collaborators.
