She graduated from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (now the Chopin University of Music) in the piano class of Professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj. During her studies, she also studied in chamber music class under Professor Krystyna Borucińska.

She graduated from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (now the Chopin University of Music) in the piano class of Professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj. During her studies, she also studied in chamber music class under Professor Krystyna Borucińska.
A prizewinner and laureate of numerous chamber music auditions and competitions, she maintains an active performing career as both a soloist and chamber musician in Poland and abroad. She has appeared at many prestigious music events, including Musica Antiqua Europae Orientalis, Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum, the Baltic Sea Festival, the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival, La Folle Journée, and Musica Polonica Nova.
She has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the National Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Polish Radio Orchestra, and Sinfonietta Cracovia, performing under conductors including Jerzy Semkow, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Krzysztof Penderecki, Marc Minkowski, Jacek Kaspszyk, Etienne Siebens, Michael Francis, and John Axelrod.
Dr. Opalińska holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree. She teaches classical piano at the Faculty of Sound Engineering at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
She has twice been awarded the Rector’s Prize of the University, in 2011 and 2024.
Together with clarinetist Krystyna Sakowska, she co-founded the Warsaw Modern Duo. The ensemble has recorded an album featuring previously unpublished chamber works by Paweł Mykietyn.
In collaboration with violinist Anna Kwiatkowska, she released the album Eidos, which includes works by leading European women composers such as Agata Zubel, Kaija Saariaho, and Olga Neuwirth. The album was nominated for the “Fryderyk 2017” Award in the category “Album of the Year – Chamber Music.”
