He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the class of Andrzej Mysiński and from the Post-secondary Jazz School with Zbigniew Wegehaupt. He used to be a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, run by Claudio Abbado. In 1996–1998, he worked with the Philharmonie der Nationen orchestra, with which he gave over a hundred concerts. For many years, he has been a member of the I Solisti di Varsavia string quintet and has been co-operating with the Prima Vista String Quartet. On a number of occasions, he has performed with outstanding soloists, such as Piotr Paleczny, Karol Radziwonowicz, WładysławKłosiewicz, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Jan Stanienda, or Jadwiga Kotnowska. In addition, he has recorded numerous albums featuring classical, jazz, and entertainment music. The artist has worked with leading Polish jazz artists and world-renowned stars: Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, Gregory Porter, Troy Miller, and Mark Soskin. He used to be a member of the Andrzej Kurylewicz Trio and the WłodekPawlik Trio; currently, he is active in the ensembles of Janusz Strobel, JanuszBogacki, Garry Guthman, Wojciech Gogolewski, and Filip Wojciechowski. He has also produced the following CDs: Pańta, Dys, Szmańda play Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Małecki;Kostov, Pańta Konrad Trio:Konwersacje;Karolak Piano Trio:MOONtag; Agnieszka Hekiert:Soulnation; Nula Stankiewicz:Śpiewam; Hołownia, Pańta: To nieprzypadek. In August 2022, his first solo album was released – PawełPańta Trio: Młodość. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Jazz and Stage Music of the Chopin University of Music; at his alma mater, he obtained the title of Doctor of Musical Arts.
