Bartłomiej Baranowski

Bartłomiej Baranowski is a pianist, educator, and arranger. He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Switzerland, where he studied with distinguished teachers including Prof. Bronisława Kawalla, Edward Wolanin, Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just, Tomasz Herbut, and Edoardo Torbianelli.
He is a prizewinner of national and international piano competitions, including the International J.S. Bach Competition in Gorzów Wielkopolski and the Polish National CEA Auditions. He has performed in leading music venues in Poland and abroad, including Bern, Berlin, Vienna, and across Italy, and has appeared multiple times at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw.
His artistic work focuses on the intersection of classical music and new technologies. In 2023–2024, he collaborated with the tech startup Pianoroll on projects involving artificial intelligence and digital music processing. He also regularly performs with the Heroes Orchestra, contributing to projects that combine piano performance with multimedia and contemporary popular culture.
Since 2024, he has been affiliated with the Church Music Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he works as an accompanist in choral conducting classes led by Anna Perzanowska-Tarasiuk and Jakub Szafrański, and also teaches piano. Alongside his academic work, he maintains an active independent career, including concert performances, original projects, and private teaching. His work brings together extensive chamber music experience with a strong interest in composition and arrangement.
