28 stycznia 2025 r. rektor prof. dr hab. Tomasz Strahl oraz prorektor ds. zagranicznych prof. dr hab. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just gościli w UMFC delegację z Guangxi Arts University w Chinach. Podczas rozmów z Panami Ma Changlin, Bo Wu i Panią Wu Jingjing poruszano tematy dotyczące wymiany studentów i kadry akademickiej, wspólnych projektów artystycznych oraz organizacji międzynarodowych wydarzeń muzycznych.
