Stanisław Moryto – Solo & Chamber Works

The album was prepared with the anniversary 35th Stanisław Moryto Legnica Organ Conversa-toriumin mind. The CD features all accordion works by the patron of the festival (including twoTriglyphfor flute, guitar, and accordion andFive Songsto words by Tadeusz Kobierzycki for female voice and accordion recorded for the first time), the phonographic premiere ofCantofor trombone and organ as well as Circle for saxophone, premiered by Paweł Gusnar only just in 2020 during the Conversatorium. Almost all of the selected compositions could be heard at the Conversatorium; some of them have found a permanent place in the repertoire of many soloists and chamber musicians.The works included on the album were interpreted by outstanding artists: Rectors of the Chopin University of Music Klaudiusz Baran (accordion) and PawełGusnar (saxophone), artis-tic director of the Conversatorium Michał Sławecki (organ) as well as by Joanna Freszel (so-prano), Karol Gajda (trombone), Rafał Grząka (accordion), Mateusz Kowalski (guitar), Maria Peradzyńska-Filip (flute), and Miłosz Pękala (drums). The sound engineers involved in the pro-ject were Katarzyna Rakowiecka-Rojsza and Małgorzata and Igor Szymański. The album was originated by Emilia Dudkiewicz.Stanisław Moryto would repeatedly emphasize that he tried to communicate with the language of the soul. His music constantly inspires and speaks to great artists. Through their craftsmanship and honesty of expression, it reaches everyone who wants to discover it and search for everything that is important, valuable, and timeless.
