オーケストラ及びコーラスの音楽教育事業として、2023年に設立。 法人設立と同時に『富山ジュニアオーケストラ＆コーラス』を創立。富山 県内の小学１年生から高校３年生を対象に、総勢100名で活動を行って いる。年２回の主催公演に加え、依頼公演にも積極的に取り組み、県内 外から好評を得ている。また法人として、自主公演や企画制作の受託も 実施している。富山県の音楽文化 発展に貢献したい、という信念の もと、積極的に活動を行っている。

東京オペラ協会は、人間賛歌と自然賛歌をテーマとしたオペラ活動を続け、今年設立50年を迎えました。 活動の柱は二つあります。一つは国際平和を願いながら世界各国とオペラで国際交流すること。もう一つはユニバーサ ルデザインの考え方で、誰もが参加できてその可能性を拓き育てる場を提供し続けることです。
これまで、オペラ「忘れられた少年―天正遣欧少年使節」（柴田南雄作曲、石多エドワード台本）は国内外で170回以上 公演し、ポルトガル、イタリア、ドイツ、ポーランドなどヨーロッパでも高い評価をいただいています。1993年にはローマ教 皇（ヨハネパウロ2世）に謁見し、何曲か演奏させていただいた後、「このオペラに神の祝福がありますように、世界平和の ため頑張ってください。」というお言葉をいただく事ができました。

・オペラ「忘れられた少年―天正遣欧少年使節」
この物語は、今から440年前の信長の時代、ローマ教皇に会うため、8年半もかけ世界中を旅した少年たちが、どのよ うに人生を切り開いていったか、また挫折せざるを得なかったかを描いています。13歳前後で長崎から船出した4少年 が、欧州では大歓迎を受けさまざまな体験をしますが、帰国した彼らを待っていたものは、秀吉による禁教令でした。 帰国後の彼らそれぞれの生き方と壮絶な戦いを、優しく力強く歌い描きます。劇中で何度か歌われる「陽は昇り、陽は 沈む」の曲は、このオペラのテーマである永劫回帰を暗示し、お客様の胸に息づき続けることでしょう。

1986 年生まれ。作曲家、指揮者、教育者。ワルシャワのフレデリク・ショパン音楽大学において作 曲および交響・オペラ指揮を優秀な成績で修了し、博士号、ハビリテーションを取得。現在は同大学 教授を務め、2024 年 9 月からは副学長を務めている。

ワルシャワ国立フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の副指揮者を歴任し、ポーランドを代表する主要オー ケストラやオペラハウスで幅広く活動している。

また、作曲家としても国際的な受賞歴を有し、オペラ分野でもモーツァルト、チャイコフスキー、 プッチーニなどの作品で音楽監督を務めるなど、高い評価を得ている。2017 年から 2024 年まで ショパン音楽大学室内管弦楽団の芸術監督を務め、海外公演や録音活動を通じて同団の発展を牽引 した。現在はウッチ大劇場の芸術監督としても活躍している。

Rafał Janiak is a composer, conductor, and educator, born in 1986. Since 2023, he has served as Artistic Deputy Director of the Grand Theatre in Łódź, and since 2024 as Vice-Rector for Artistic Affairs at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He graduated with distinction from the Chopin University of Music, earning degrees in Conducting under the supervision of Professor Antoni Wit (2011) and Composition in the class of Professor Stanisław Moryto (2010). In 2016, he obtained a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in conducting, followed by a habilitation degree in 2020. He currently holds the position of University Professor. Between 2019 and 2024, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Symphonic and Opera Conducting, and since 2024 has been Head of the Department of Symphonic and Opera Conducting. For his artistic and academic achievements, he has received numerous scholarships and awards, including scholarships from the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2007, 2012), the Mayor of Gdańsk (2005, 2009), the Keimyung University Foundation in South Korea (2009), the “Young Poland” programme, and the prestigious scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists awarded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. From 2017 to 2024, he was Artistic Director of the Chopin University Chamber Orchestra, with which he performed in concert halls around the world, including a concert tour of China in 2019. Under his leadership, the orchestra recorded several albums, some of which received nominations for Poland’s prestigious Fryderyk Music Awards. His artistic output includes more than a dozen CD and DVD recordings made in collaboration with leading Polish musical ensembles and cultural institutions.

Rafał Janiak began his conducting career in 2011, making his debut with the National Philharmonic Orchestra during his graduation concert. Continuing his collaboration with the institution, he served as Assistant Conductor from 2012 to 2013, working alongside Antoni Wit, Jacek Kaspszyk and other distinguished guest conductors. During this period, he conducted numerous concerts, including the closing concert of the Warsaw Autumn Festival in 2013. He has collaborated with many of Poland’s leading orchestras, including the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR), the Kraków Philharmonic, Łódź Philharmonic, Silesian Philharmonic, Baltic Philharmonic, Lublin Philharmonic, Gorzów Philharmonic, Zielona Góra Philharmonic, Subcarpathian Philharmonic, Opole Philharmonic, and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot.

He regularly appears as a conductor in Poland and abroad, leading symphonic and oratorio performances. His operatic career began in 2011 with a production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Since then, in cooperation with the Chopin University of Music, he has prepared and conducted new productions of operas including Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Warsaw Chamber Opera), Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, and Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi (Polish National Opera). He has also conducted performances of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and numerous productions at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, including Puccini’s Turandot, Bizet’s Carmen, Strauss’s The Gypsy Baron, Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor, and Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman. As Music Director, he prepared premiere productions for the Grand Theatre in Łódź, including Gounod’s Faust, Verdi’s La Traviata, Berlioz’s Romeo and Juliet, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Puccini’s La Bohème. One of the most significant achievements of Rafał Janiak’s career was preparing the premiere of Penderecki’s Paradise Lost, a production that received Jan Kiepura Theatre Music Awards, including the award for Best Performance, and earned a nomination for the International Classical Music Awards for its DVD recording. At the Grand Theatre in Łódź, he also initiated the Puccini Festival and the Concert with a Star series, featuring internationally acclaimed artists such as Pretty Yende, Francesco Demuro, and Aleksandra Kurzak. A particularly notable accomplishment is his opera The Man from Manufaktura, which won the Grand Prize in the Grand Theatre in Łódź composition competition. The jury, chaired by Professor Krzysztof Penderecki, unanimously awarded the work first prize, while it also received the Audience Award. The world premiere took place in 2019 at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, and its open-air performance at the Łódź Textile Workers’ Market Square became one of the most spectacular cultural events in the city’s history.

His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including First Prize in the John Paul II Composition Competition in Warsaw (2007), Third Prize in the International “Musica Sacra” Composition Competition in Częstochowa (2008), and an Honourable Mention in the Tadeusz Baird National Competition for Young Composers in Warsaw (2010). He was also a semi-finalist in the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition in London (2014).

Rafał Janiak consistently combines artistic, compositional, and academic activities, contributing to the promotion of Polish musical culture both in Poland and internationally.

In 2023, he was awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.

ピアノ クシシュトフ・ヴィエルチニスキ　Krzysztof Wierciński

2003 年、ワルシャワ生まれ。現在、ワルシャワのフレデリク・ショパン音楽大学に在学し、ヨアン ナ・ワヴリノヴィチ＝ユスト教授のもとで研鑽を積んでいる。

これまでに、第 2 回カロル・シマノフスキ国際音楽コンクールおよび第 13 回ナルヴァ国際ショ パン・コンクールで第 2 位を受賞し、2025 年には第 53 回フレデリク・ショパン全国ピアノコン クールで第 2 位を受賞した。この受賞により、第 19 回ショパン国際ピアノコンクールには予備予 選免除で出場し、ワルシャワ・フィルハーモニーでの第 1 ステージに出演した。

ヨーロッパ、北米、アジアで演奏活動を行っており、国際的な活躍が期待される若手ピアニストの 一人である。

Krzysztof Wierciński was born on 22 February 2003. He began his musical education at the age of seven. He is currently studying at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just. He is a laureate of numerous international and national piano competitions, receiving awards at, among others, the 2nd International Karol Szymanowski Music Competition in Katowice, the 13th International Chopin Competition in Narva, the 5th International Chopin Competition in Rzeszów, the 12th International Competition for Young Pianists “Artur Rubinstein in Memoriam” in Bydgoszcz, the 9th International Maurycy Moszkowski Piano Competition “Per Aspera ad Astra”, and the 53rd National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, which qualified him directly for participation in the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.

He has refined his artistic skills through masterclasses led by distinguished musicians, including Leonid Margarius, Arie Vardi, Janusz Olejniczak, Andrzej Jasiński, Elżbieta Stefańska, Dang Thai Son, Tobias Koch, Vanessa Latarche, Alexander Gavrylyuk, Roland Krüger, Wojciech Świtała, Vincenzo Balzani, Eldar Nebolsin, Nikolai Demidenko, Ludmil Angelov, and Alexei Orlovetsky. He has performed throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. His appearances include prestigious music festivals and renowned concert venues such as the 80th International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, the 21st International Music Festival “Chopin and His Europe” in Warsaw, the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic in Zielona Góra, the Łomża Chamber Philharmonic, the Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce, the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz, the Tallinn Philharmonic in Estonia, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vienna, Palais Wittgenstein in Düsseldorf, Casa Convalescència in Barcelona, the Tiškevičiai Palace in Užutrakis, Lithuania, and the Orangery in the Bagatelle Park in Paris. He has also performed on numerous occasions at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Royal Łazienki Museum, and the birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola. He appeared at Expo 2020 Dubai and at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

The artist made archival recordings of Karol Szymanowski’s Symphony No. 4 “Symphonie Concertante”, Op. 60 for Polish Radio with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) under the baton of Maestro José Maria Florêncio. He was a recipient of the “Young Poland 2024” scholarship, as well as scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Children’s Fund between 2020 and 2022.

ショパン音楽大学室内管弦楽団は、2017 年に設立された若手中 心の室内管弦楽団であり、芸術監督・運営責任者のもと、オーディ ションによって選抜された優秀な学生によって構成されています。 ポーランドの歴史や文化に関わる重要な舞台への出演、海外ツアー、 録音活動などを通じて実績を重ねてきた団体です。

オーケストラのメンバーも参加したポーランド・イスラエル共同交響楽団が国立歌劇場大劇場で演奏。ワルシャワ・ゲッ トー蜂起80周年記念式典の一環として行われたこのコンサートにはポーランド、イスラエルそしてドイツの大統領らも出席。

The Chopin University Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2017 on the initiative of UMFC Rector Professor Klaudiusz Baran and then orchestra inspector Aleksander Zwierz - the current manager. The artistic direction of the formation was entrusted to conductor Rafał Janiak, and Daniel Mieczkowski currently holds that function.
The establishment of the orchestra was guided by the idea of careful selection of musicians so that the ensemble could present a very diverse, often revealing program. The members of the orchestra are outstanding students, selected through a multi-stage audition process. The ensemble can boast numerous successes, as well as cooperation with excellent conductors, including Grzegorz Nowak, Michał Klauza, Anna Sułkowska-Migoń and Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski. Almost from the beginning of its existence, the Orchestra has been active in concerts, honoring with its playing important events for Polish history and culture, among others. The Chopin University Chamber Orchestra is also actively engaged in phonographic activities. In July 2019, the orchestra toured China for several weeks, where it played 21 concerts in the most prestigious concert halls, including the Poly Theatre in Shanghai. This first such event in the history of our university was enthusiastically received by Chinese audiences and critics. In December 2020, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the events of December '70, an album was released by Polish Radio Gdansk, on which the orchestra performed Rafal Janiak's piece entitled December Threnody. The release of the

CD was preceded by concerts in Gdynia and Gdańsk, during which Rafał Janiak's piece immortalized on the CD was premiered alongside works by Krzysztof Penderecki, Mikołaj Górecki and Paweł Łukaszewski. In March 2023, the orchestra performed in the hall of the Copernicus Center in Chicago, presenting, among others, a piece by Mikołaj Majkusiak entitled „On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres” for string orchestra and seven magic instruments, written to commemorate Nicolaus Copernicus. On April 19, 2023, members of the orchestra performed at the Grand Theater - National Opera, co-creating a Polish-Israeli symphony orchestra. The concert, attended by the presidents of Poland, Israel and Germany, was part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
