Andrzej Morawiec, Aleksandra Dziurosz - artistic care

The first dance ensemble in the history of the Chopin University of Music – Chopin University Dance Company – was founded in 2016 at the initiative of Rhythmics students and Prof. Aleksandra Dziurosz.

It mainly consists of students and graduates of the Department of Choir Conducting, Choir Vocal Studies, Music Education and Rhythmics and Department of Dance. The ensemble also collaborates with students, graduates and professors from the remaining UMFC Departments as well as other artists from Poland and abroad. The main artistic goal of the group is creating an original dance repertoire consisting of choreographic miniatures and performances based on contemporary, jazz and source dances, and movement theatre. The ensemble’s repertoire is presented during artistic events, festivals and competitions in Poland and abroad.
