Artistic events

The Chopin University of Music is one of the most important concert centers in Warsaw, pulsating with ideas and initiatives thanks to the students studying here and the numerous group of performing teachers.

The university stages chamber concerts and recitals, symphony and oratorio concerts, opera, musical and dance performances. It also presents more informal forms of artistic expression, which are extremely popular, such as big band concerts, jazz and world music presentations, as well as multimedia events, electronic and computer music. Since 2020, selected concerts have been recorded in audiovisual form and made available on the university's YouTube channel.

The UMFC Concert Office is responsible for organizing the concerts of the UMFC artistic season at the university's venues. Our stages also host many student initiatives (e.g., activities of research clubs, the Student Council) and additional cathedral and faculty projects. For many years, during the summer holidays, thanks to the Chopin-Górecki International Master Classes, the UMFC has become a center for the popularization of Polish music and musical tradition.
