VI Międzynarodowa Konferencja Naukowo – Artystyczna „Osobowość dyrygenta”
Pogłębione studium sylwetki dyrygenta chóru wobec współczesnych wymagań cywilizacyjnych. Chórmistrz to nie tylko muzyk. To osoba wielu zdolności, których splot może umożliwić zawodowy sukces. Składa się na to gruntowne wykształcenie muzyczne, znajomość warsztatu wokalnego… i wiele innych predyspozycji, w tym osobowościowych, o których będziemy rozmawiać w dniach 3-5 listopada 2023.
Planujemy:
· seminaria i wykłady wybitnych osobowości świata chóralnego,
· panele dyskusyjne z zaproszonymi gośćmi
· otwarte próby i warsztaty z udziałem chórów o różnym profilu działalności
· koncerty
· prezentacje nowej muzyki chóralnej i wydawnictw

Heng-Yi Pao - Tajwan
Heng-Yi Pao, born in Taiwan in 1991, began his musical education as an oboist and singer. He finished his Master Degrees both in Orchestral and Choral Conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Heng-Yi Pao has won prizes at several international competitions: ICC "Towards Polyphony" in Wrocław, a Special Prize at the IC of the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra and 2nd Prize at the IC for Choral Conducting in Koper, Slovenia. In 2012, he had the honor to be invited to Sydney, Australia to join the Gondwana National Choral School by support from Australian composer and conductor Stephen Leek with full scholarship. Pao assisted Peter Marschik in several opera productions at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna, including Tchaikovsky’s "Eugene Onegin", Rossini's "Il barbiere di Siviglia". In 2020 he assisted the conductor Anja Bihlmaier at the Vienna Volksoper with Mozart's "Magic Flute" and Bizet's "Carmen". In 2021 he assisted Marie Jacquot at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein with Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”.
He has conducted outstanding choirs such as Webern Kammerchor, Chamber Choir of the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana (KGBL), Riga Chamber Choir Ave Sol, Choir of National Forum of Music (Poland), Taipei Chamber Singers and Taipei Philharmonic Choir.
Pao was Conductor’s Assistant of National Symphony Orchestra (Taiwan Philharmonic) during the 2022/23 season, and is currently Conductor of Taiwan Junior Camerata, Guest Conductor of Taipei Chamber Singers, Conductor of Taichung YinQi Chorus, Conductor of the National Cheng Kung University Orchestra and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Music Department of National Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan.
Heng-Yi Pao studied in masterclasses and individual classes under Rodney Eichenberger, Gábor Hollerung, Marie Jacquot, Yuji Yuasa, Jahja Ling, Jin Wang, Peter Eötvös, Uroš Lajović, Ambrož Čopi, Marco Antonio García de Paz, Jānis Liepinš, Marin Alsop, Anja Bihlmaier and Andreas Schüller. -
